The Ash Group is hiring a Sr. Quality Engineer for our client, a global leader providing advanced systems and support in defense, aerospace, and security. This is a 8 month contract role, working in Louisville, KY (Onsite) offering a pay rate of $54 per hour W2 based on skill set.
Role Details
- Compensation: $54/hr W2

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supports manufacturing and engineering operations by ensuring product and process quality meet rigorous standards.
- Focus on identifying and resolving defects, analyzing trends, managing corrective actions, and supporting tiered management systems.
- Lead efforts in pulling quality data, reviewing quality data, root cause analysis, containment, and quality system improvement across cross-functional teams.
- Analyze quality metrics and trends; provide data-driven insights to support continuous improvement.
- Identify and resolve product and process defects through robust Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), including countermeasure sheets and 5-Whys.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field or 10 years of work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years in a quality engineering role, preferably in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments is a must.
- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) skills is a must
