Summary
The Ash Group is hiring a Principal Structural Engineer (24625) for our client, a major electricity and natural gas utility provider. This is a 12-month contract position working in Boulder, CO (Hybrid). We are offering a pay rate up to $78 per hour W2 based on skill set.
Role Details
- Compensation: Up to $78/hr W2

What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform structural analysis on spacecraft, instruments, payloads, optics, mechanisms, and ground support equipment.
- Use closed-form and finite element analysis techniques in stress analysis and structural dynamics.
- Develop loads and environments for structure and components.
- Support structural and environmental testing for static, modal, acoustic, shock, and vibration.
- Write detailed reports for test and analysis activities.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required, plus 6 or more years of related Structural Engineering experience is a must
- Must have experience with NASTRAN
- Experience with FEMAP and/or SIMCenter is required
- Aerospace background is preferred
