About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Assembler to support production of advanced laser, optical, and fiber assemblies. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with precision components, reading schematics, and performing detailed electrical/mechanical builds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble electronic, optical, and fiber-optic sub-assemblies.
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Perform testing, measurement, troubleshooting, and repairs on completed units.
- Maintain accurate data entry and documentation for work performed.
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve assembly or test issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and comply with all company procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional technical or trade training preferred.
- Hands-on experience with electronics assembly, soldering, fiber handling, or optical components.
- Familiarity with E/M schematics, test equipment, and assembly tools.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for small-component work.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow written instructions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Regular, reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime when needed.
