Job Opening: JFAA Art Education Assistant
Location: Jamestown ND
Job Type: Part -Time
Pay: $15 - $18 an hour (up to 20 hrs a week)

At the Jamestown Fine Arts Association, we are committed to fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment for students. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Education Assistant to join our team and contribute to enhancing the educational experience for our students. As an Education Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, administrators, and students to provide a nurturing and effective learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist classroom teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
· Provide support to students in small groups or one-on-one settings to reinforce learning.
· Help with preparing instructional materials and organizing classroom resources.
· Support students with special needs or accommodations as required.
· Assist with administrative tasks, including: marketing, class registration, event and exhibit preparation
· Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
· Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in education or Arts-related fields is a plus.
· Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
· Patience, empathy, and a passion for education.
· Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.05 - $18.04 per hour
