What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Specialist position at The Artist Lab?
THE ARTIST LAB is looking for a Social Media Specialist to help manage our social media channels and written content. This person will be responsible for taking pictures, videos, creating social media campaigns, and generating content and copy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation & Strategy:
- Develop engaging and creative content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube based on
current trends, brand voice, and audience preferences.
- Create high-quality, on-brand videos, reels, posts, and stories that align with the
company’s overall marketing strategy.
- Create and maintain a content calendar that schedules all social media posts.
Trend Awareness:
- Stay ahead of emerging trends on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, leveraging them to
keep content fresh and relevant.
Editing & Production:
- Edit and post videos, images, and stories across all platforms to ensure consistency and
high engagement.
- Use editing software to create high-quality content that reflects the brand’s aesthetic.
Engagement & Community Building:
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely
and professional manner.
- Foster a positive community environment and handle customer service inquiries via
social media with professionalism and efficiency.
Performance Analysis:
- Monitor analytics and key metrics (e.g., views, engagement rates, follower growth) to
optimize content and increase performance.

Communication:
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with the audience and

comments or responding to drops in engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year of experience in social media.
- Familiarity with Canva, picture editing and video editing software
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong time management, organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects/activities.
- Self-starter, highly collaborative, true team-player.
- Experience with educational centers and related subjects
