Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality childcare for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood education and development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures
- Support children with disabilities or special needs through tailored caregiving strategies and inclusive practices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and play
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and needs
- Apply effective behavior management techniques to foster positive social interactions and emotional growth
Qualifications
- Valid credentialing as a Childcare Provider or Early Childhood Education certification
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom settings
- Knowledge of childhood development milestones and early education best practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional training in working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong skills in teaching, caregiving, behavior management, and classroom organization
- Ability to engage children actively while maintaining safety standards at all times
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members
