What are the responsibilities and job description for the National Deputy Program Director position at The Arora Group?
Currently recruiting a National Deputy Program Director to provide director-level oversight of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) medical operations. This healthcare operations leadership role supports program planning, regional staffing, logistics, risk management, and reporting. The position requires availability for contact by DHS personnel 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round, with onsite support when requested by the Government. This position and job location is contingent upon the award of the contract.
DUTIES OF THE NATIONAL DEPUTY PROGRAM DIRECTOR:
- Provide strategic management and oversee planning and execution across program operations.
- Oversee regional scheduling and day-to-day program management.
- Track program personnel through vetting and orientation.
- Develop and manage logistics and procurement strategies.
- Develop and implement risk management, quality assurance, and medical surveillance plans.
- Analyze program performance and support continuous improvement.
- Ensure reporting requirements and deadlines are met.
- Prepare executive summaries, decision briefs, and presentations.
- Review management and financial reports to identify trends, performance gaps, and contract status.
- Manage projects across multiple locations and lead large, diverse teams.
- Build collaborative relationships and resolve operational issues in high-pressure environments.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE NATIONAL DEPUTY PROGRAM DIRECTOR:
- Required: Bachelor s degree in management, human resources, or a related field, OR equivalent background or experience in immigration, criminal justice, military, or healthcare management.
- Required: At least five years of management experience managing multiple tasks.
- Required: At least five years of experience overseeing healthcare services.
- Required: Experience with medical screening and triage operations in extensive, remote operational environments with a chain-of-command structure.
- Required: Experience managing projects at multiple locations and supervising more than 100 employees.
- Required: Excellent recent and relevant performance reviews.
- Required: Demonstrated experience developing and managing logistics plans and providing operational support.
- Required: Ability to analyze management and financial information and prepare executive summaries, presentations, and decision briefs.
- Required: Demonstrated leadership, collaborative planning, relationship-building, customer service, and oral and written communication skills.
- Required: Experience managing large, diverse teams in high-pressure environments requiring rapid, collaborative decisions.
- Must possess, or qualify for, a relevant management or human resources certification, such as PMP, CPC, CSP, or a similar certification.
- Must be able to bend, stand, and sit for extended periods, retrieve documents, carry materials or file boxes weighing up to 20 pounds, and travel to DHS locations.
