What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Brake Operator position at The Arnold Group?

Pay Rate/Range: $16/hr DOE
Description: Plans and performs a variety of fabrication operations utilizing numerical control machining centers to cut or form metal work pieces to specifications. Must be able to interpret complicated drawings, program sheets and work orders to determine work to be done. Will load disk in machine control console or enter commands to retrieve preprogrammed instructions for database. Load materials and/or parts manually or with a crane, perform a variety of inspections to insure adherence to quality standards and specifications. Cleans machine and tooling and performs machine maintenance.
Job Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, have math skills and be able to read and understand blueprints and various measuring devices. Must be able to regularly lift and /or move 50lbs and frequently lift and/or move 100lbs.
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm
