What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator/Plasma Punch Operator position at The Arnold Group?

Pay Rate/Range: $17-20/hr, DOE
Description: Set up and operate a plasma punch to punch and cut sheet metal and metal plates to blueprints and work orders. Must be able to interpret complicated drawings, program sheets and work orders to determine the work to be done. Will load control disk in machine control console or enter commands to retrieve preprogramed machine instructions from database. Must be able to change punches, dies and/or nozzle tips, perform a variety of inspections and clean machine and tooling.
Job Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills and experience with numeric control touch screens. Will lift/move up to 50lbs regularly, frequently lift/move 100lbs and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100lbs.
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00pm-6:30am, will train on first shift for 3-4 weeks.
