The Armory is a historic, modern-industrial wedding and events venue with a heart for community, hospitality, and unforgettable celebrations. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping a space beautiful, functional, and guest-ready—while also leading our bar operations with professionalism, warmth, and organization.
This unique, full-time position blends two crucial roles in our venue: Custodial/Maintenance Support and Event Management. You’ll be a key part of ensuring our weddings and events run smoothly from behind the scenes to behind the bar.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the venue before, during, and after events
- Perform light maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting when needed
- Assist with venue setup, breakdown, and room flips between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and tools
- Complete weekly cleaning tasks to ensure venue standards are met
- Ensure safety standards and venue care guidelines are consistently upheld
- Oversee bar setup, service flow, and breakdown during events
- Manage staff team during events; lead with professionalism and positivity
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and venue policies
- Deliver exceptional guest experience and hospitality throughout each event
Experience
- Has prior custodial, facilities, maintenance, OR hands-on event experience
- Is dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently
- Can lift/move equipment, furniture, and supplies as needed
- Can work evenings and weekends consistently
- Has strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Is friendly, professional, and thrives in an event environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,229.45 - $55,674.17 per year
