We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced catering environment. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our dining area and kitchen, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, and be able to thrive in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Assist in bussing tables by clearing dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly after guests finish their meals.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces as needed.
- Support kitchen staff by organizing clean dishes and assisting with food preparation when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Setup tables and move furniture throughout events.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others within the team.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs, move tables, chairs.
