What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at The Armor Group, Inc.?
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for delivering and picking up material safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities Include:
- Crating, wrapping, banding material in preparation for shipment
- Loading materials on trucks
- Safely securing material to flatbed
- Represent Armor’s core values while interacting with external customers and vendors
- Operate forklift and hydraulic lift in safe manner
- Update travel log
- Additional tasks as assigned by manager
PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY
This position interacts with the shipping supervisor and shipping coordinators as well as external customers on a daily basis.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior delivery experience is preferred
EQUIPMENT USED
This position will be using company vehicles and a forklift.
WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
This position works on the shipping dock, outside and in company vehicles.
