Logistics Specialist
Job Purpose:
- Receive, store, and ship customer parts accurately and efficiently
Full Job Description:
- Receive incoming customer parts
- Move and store parts in the warehouse
- Prepare and package customer parts for safe transit
- Report any damage or discrepancies to proper personnel
- Complete paperwork as required
- Operate forklifts and/or hand trucks safely to move customer parts throughout the warehouse
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- All other duties as assigned by logistics supervisor
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic
- Team player
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving is a plus, but not a requirement
- Previous experience with driving a forklift is a plus, but not a requirement
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, squat, twist, and reach as part of daily activity
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day
- Must be able and/or willing to drive a forklift
Salary : $16 - $17
