Logistics Specialist

Job Purpose:

• Receive, store, and ship customer parts accurately and efficiently

Full Job Description:

• Receive incoming customer parts
• Move and store parts in the warehouse
• Prepare and package customer parts for safe transit
• Report any damage or discrepancies to proper personnel
• Complete paperwork as required
• Operate forklifts and/or hand trucks safely to move customer parts throughout the warehouse
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• All other duties as assigned by logistics supervisor

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong work ethic
• Team player
• Previous experience in shipping/receiving is a plus, but not a requirement
• Previous experience with driving a forklift is a plus, but not a requirement

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to bend, squat, twist, and reach as part of daily activity
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day
• Must be able and/or willing to drive a forklift
