Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to patients in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facilities. Your primary focus will be to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals through tailored therapy programs that promote independence and enhance quality of life.
Duties
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Conduct therapy sessions with patients, utilizing appropriate techniques and modalities.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities to be performed at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Experience
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program is required.
- Previous experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
