Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community outreach strategies to strengthen relationships with local organizations, stakeholders, and residents.
• Act as the primary point of contact for community inquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication.
• Organize and facilitate public presentations, community events, workshops, and outreach programs to promote organizational initiatives.
• Manage social media accounts and digital platforms to share updates, engage audiences, and increase visibility within the community.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling content for newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.
• Collect data on community needs and feedback to inform program development and strategic planning efforts.
• Support volunteer management efforts by recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers for various outreach activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in community engagement or outreach roles with strong community management skills.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to deliver engaging public presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and planning purposes.
• Demonstrated ability in media relations, social media management, and public relations strategies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Experience in project management, fundraising, or business development is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively serve diverse populations.
• Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and relationship management expertise.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
