Housekeeper & Laundry Attendant – Boutique Inns on Washington Park (Albany, NY)

Washington Park Inn & The Argus Hotel are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our exceptional housekeeping and laundry team. We operate two boutique properties in Albany’s Washington Park neighborhood and pride ourselves on cleanliness, care, and a welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
About the Role:
- Maintain immaculate guest rooms, common areas, and event spaces
- Transport laundry between both inns (must have reliable transportation)
- Follow our specialized training on using all-natural cleaning products
- Help ensure accurate reporting of clean/dirty room status and team schedules
- Support events and special functions—opportunity to earn great tips!
- Core hours are typically 10 AM to 4 PM, but flexible scheduling is available
How Scheduling Works:
We operate 7 days a week but allow housekeepers to work out the schedule among themselves—as long as the job is done with excellence and on time. You’ll always know what’s clean, what needs to be done, and who’s working thanks to our reporting systems.

Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation to move laundry between properties
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- Must be dependable, punctual, and take pride in a job well done
- Open to weekend availability and occasional evening event support
- Willing to learn our natural cleaning system
