Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing surfaces
- Support cooking processes by following instructions from kitchen supervisors to ensure quality and consistency
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper handling procedures, storage guidelines, and hygiene practices
- Operate POS systems for order processing when required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and food safety standards
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, serving, and bussing in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact with guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Demonstrated commitment to guest services and hospitality excellence
