Client Services Coordinator

The Archway Careers
Arlington, TX Full Time
POSTED ON 5/10/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 6/9/2026
Client Services Coordinator
This is not a clipboard-and-checklist job.
This is frontline leadership inside a 24-hour emergency shelter.
Are you interested in meaningful work?
Or are you interested in life-saving work?

At The Archway, we are Tarrant County’s only state-designated family violence program. That means when someone makes the hardest phone call of their life, we answer. When someone walks through our shelter doors at 2:00 a.m., we are ready. We stand beside survivors while working to hold offenders accountable.
This work is urgent. It is complex. It is emotional. And it matters.

We are looking for a Client Services Coordinator who can lead in that environment — not observe it from the sidelines.

The Opportunity
You will lead the 24-hour Client Advocate Center — the operational heartbeat of our emergency shelter.
You are not just managing staff.
You are setting the tone for safety, professionalism, and compassion.
You will:
  • Hire, train, and develop Client Advocate staff
  • Build and manage 24-hour schedules that ensure consistent coverage
  • Partner seamlessly with the Hotline Coordinator so that intake from crisis call to shelter bed is smooth and trauma-informed
  • Crosstrain advocates strengthening both hotline and shelter operations
If systems break, you fix them.
If staff struggle, you coach them.
If processes stall, you streamline them.

What You Will Carry
This role carries weight.
You will be responsible for:
  • Departmental reporting and documentation that meets grant and compliance standards
  • Monitoring CaseWorthy entries to ensure accuracy and service quality
  • Strengthening community partnerships with law enforcement, transportation providers, and referral agencies
  • Managing personnel issues directly, professionally, and fairly
  • Training, directing, correcting, and elevating your team
  • Upholding organizational policies and grant requirements without exception
You are accountable for both compassion and structure.
Both heart and discipline.

Who You Are
You are calm when others panic.
You think clearly when things escalate.
You can walk into tension and steady the room.
You understand the dynamics of family violence. You respond to survivors with dignity, cultural sensitivity, and strength — not saviorism.
You do not shy away from hard conversations.
You believe accountability is an act of care.
You protect confidentiality fiercely.
You are organized, direct, flexible, and deeply mission aligned.
You show up because the work matters.
Working in domestic violence services is hard.
We do not pretend otherwise.
But we can do hard things.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field required (or 5 years equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
  • 6 months to 1 year experience in a 24-hour hotline or residential setting
  • Strong knowledge of family violence dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm in crisis
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-accountability environments preferred
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and proof of insurance required
You must be able to:
  • Interpret and implement policy with clarity
  • Draft reports and professional correspondence
  • Communicate confidently with clients, staff, and community partners
  • Apply sound judgment in structured but high-pressure situations
Please include salary requirements in your cover letter
