A Day in the Life of a Café Associate:
As a relief/substitute Café Associate you will assist with all operational needs of the Café while consistently delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Create a welcoming and positive experience for every guest, and contribute to building and maintaining the Café's reputation as a preferred destination within the community.
- Greet every customer promptly and in a friendly, professional manner.
- Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Work closely with management to promptly address and resolve customer concerns.
- Communicate with kitchen staff to clarify orders when needed.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of all menu items and their methods of preparation.
- Prepare food in accordance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register and process transactions.
- Follow all Agency and Health Department food safety guidelines at all times.
