Nurse – Monday–Friday Day Shift (No Weekends or Holidays)
Location: Princeton, IN
The Arc Southwest Indiana is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse to join our Residential Department. If you’re looking for a consistent Monday–Friday day schedule with weekends and holidays off, this role may be the perfect fit.
We are looking for someone who prioritizes participant care, demonstrates strong organization and attention to detail, and maintains strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend acute and specialty medical appointments with participants.
- Oversee medication administration, including monitoring prescriptions and reordering medications as needed.
- Assess all participant injuries within 24 hours, including documenting signs, symptoms, and completing fall assessments.
- Evaluate staff work‑related injuries within 24 hours, complete required documentation, and communicate next steps to the Human Resources Director.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director and/or Department Directors.
Required Education & Experience
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Current Nursing License.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to pass all required background checks, drug screening, and TB testing.
- Must obtain and maintain agency-required certifications, including CPR, First Aid, CPI, Core A & B, and any other training mandated by governing bodies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.50 - $30.00 per hour
