About the Role
The Arc Southwest Indiana is hiring a Career Coach to support students ages 14–22 with IEPs and 504 plans. This role helps students explore career options, build workplace readiness skills, and transition to post-secondary education, training, or employment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with schools, Vocational Rehabilitation, and community partners.
- Provide job exploration, work-based learning, workplace readiness, and self-advocacy training.
- Attend IEP meetings and assist with transition planning.
- Help students create resumes and secure local learning opportunities.
- Document services and ensure compliance with agency requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to advocacy and student success.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean background check
Job Type: Full-time
