What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian II position at The Arc Oneida-Lewis?
The Arc Oneida-Lewis Chapter is seeking to add a Custodian II to our Facilities Management Department! In this position you would be responsible for ensuring that the building is properly cleaned daily and is left in a secure manner at the end of the day. You would work closely with the Custodian Coordinator to perform all necessary cleaning tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform floor stripping, waxing and buffing as scheduled.
- Clean offices, restrooms and hall daily as scheduled.
- Supervise and assist building custodians where appropriate.
- Instruct custodian I on proper usage of cleaning chemicals and machinery where appropriate.
- Maintain and order supplies as needed.
- Secure building at the end of the work day.
- Report all damages to building to immediate supervisor.
- Coordinate and schedule inspections, etc. of building and cleaning procedures.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and 1 year experience in a custodial field
Valid NYS Driver's License
