In this position you will assist the College-Works Work Life Skills Instructor in the daily implementation of the program and classroom instruction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the program staff with the development and implementation of classroom instruction, skill training and supervision of individuals enrolled in the program and back- up for Work Life Skills Instructor when absent.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of curriculum for work life skills training in conjunction with the Work Life Skills Instructor and the Director of College Works.
- Assist with daily lesson plans.
- Assist with daily classroom documentation including, but not limited to, recording of attendance and prompts, for the purpose of OMRDD compliance with billing.
- Assists with transportation for outings within the community, following established policies and procedures regarding the use of agency vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in the field of Education, Human Services, or other related field
- One-year experience in the field of practice required.
- Valid NYS Driver's License
Schedule/Hours
- Monday - Friday, No evenings, weekends, or holidays!!
