Part-Time Job Coach – Johnson County
The Arc of Southeast Iowa
The Arc of Southeast Iowa is hiring Part-Time Job Coaches to support adults with disabilities at their community employment sites. We currently have hours available in the Johnson county areas.
What You’ll Do:
- Support individuals at their jobs while helping them build skills, independence, and confidence
- Follow individualized service plans and provide direct, on-site coaching
- Complete required documentation and communicate updates to supervisors
- Maintain confidentiality and respond calmly to emergencies
- Promote client rights and teach employment-related skills
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Associate degree or high school diploma/GED with at least 6 months of relevant experience
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Iowa driver’s license and insured vehicle preferred
- Ability to complete required training within 6 months
