Education: HS Diploma or GED required
Eligibility/Experience Requirements:
- Valid NJ Driver’s license
- One year’s experience I/DD (preferred)
Job Summary: Provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with skills for independent living and life in the community
Job Description:
- Assist consumers, as needed, in skill development, activities of daily living, personal care, domestic living, recreation and socialization
- Ensure assigned clients’ nutritional needs; assisting with feeding as necessary
- Assist consumers in nutritional planning, grocery shopping and preparation of all meals.
- Collaborate on the development/implementation of consumers’ Individual Service plans (ISP). Train and support consumers in all areas of their ISP.
- Assist with medication administration.
- Train and support consumers in the community including: social, recreational, cultural, religion and education networks.
Vaccination Requirements: Candidate must be able to provide proof of vaccination as per the executive order.
