About the Role:
Are you passionate about making a positive impact? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Aide, you’ll provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in both day programs and residential settings. Working closely with a team, you will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and community engagement to help individuals achieve their goals and enhance their independence.
This is a temporary role (4 month assignment)
Pay: The pay for this position is $18.00 to $18.65.
Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30a-3p
Location: El Cajon

- You enjoy working with individuals with disabilities and creating meaningful experiences.
- You are patient, compassionate, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- You have strong communication skills and can adapt to the needs of each individual.
- Assisting individuals with personal care, meals, and mobility support.
- Encouraging participation in daily activities and community outings.
- Helping individuals build relationships and develop independence.
- Documenting daily activities and progress using case management software.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Ability to provide person-centered support in a respectful and inclusive way.
- Are bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Have experience using case management systems (Therap preferred).
