Retail & Delivery Specialist
Full Time | Pay up to $19.00 per hour
The Arc of Palm Beach County is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Retail & Delivery Specialist. This hands-on role combines retail operations, donation pickup services, customer support, merchandising, and delivery responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for scheduled donation pickups and deliveries.
- Conduct donation pickups from residences and businesses, serving as a professional representative of The Arc.
- Load, unload, and transport donated furniture, household goods, appliances, and merchandise.
- Receive, sort, stock, and organize donations.
- Create and maintain merchandise displays.
- Test donated appliances and electronics before sale.
- Schedule and coordinate donation pickups and deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service to shoppers, donors, volunteers, and pickup customers.
- Operate the cash register and process transactions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely drive a 26-foot box truck.
- Experience with donation pickups, deliveries, moving, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
- Two years of retail, warehouse, logistics, or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience operating a POS/cash register.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to pass required background screenings and maintain a drug-free workplace.
