What You’ll Do

As a Respite DSP, you’ll provide meaningful care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Palm Beach County — helping them build skills, stay active, and experience joy in a safe and supportive environment.

Your day-to-day impact will include:

• Providing in-home, center-based, and community-based respite care.

• Assisting with activities of daily living such as feeding, dressing, toileting, and recreation.

• Engaging clients in enriching activities tailored to their individual needs and interests.

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

• Maintaining accurate records and open communication with families and supervisors.

• Collaborating with the Respite Manager and team to plan and implement structured activities.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)

• At least one year of experience working with neurodiverse individuals or providing direct care

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• A caring and patient attitude, with the ability to work well with families and teammates

• A valid Florida Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance
