The Arc of Ocean County is looking for compassionate, dependable individuals to join our Residential Services team as Full-Time Evening Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). During the evening shift, you'll help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities transition from their day into a relaxing, engaging, and meaningful evening at home and in the community.

Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Schedule Requirement: Flexibility to work two weekend days as part of your schedule
Starting Pay: $20.70 per hour
Opportunity to earn up to $24.70 per hour through shift differentials and overtime
Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
What You'll DoSupport Everyday Living- Assist individuals in residential group homes, supervised apartments, and supported living programs with evening routines and daily living activities.
- Help prepare meals, assist with medication support, household responsibilities, personal care, and transportation needs.
- Promote healthy routines that encourage independence, personal responsibility, and confidence.
- Encourage individuals to participate in recreational activities, community outings, shopping trips, and social opportunities.
- Celebrate personal accomplishments while supporting individuals in reaching goals identified through their individualized service plans.
- Create a positive home environment where individuals feel respected, valued, and empowered to make choices.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
- Accurately complete electronic documentation, daily service notes, and required program records.
- Follow agency policies, medication procedures, and safety protocols while providing high-quality person-centered supports.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure continuity of care.
- Work collaboratively with Residential Services staff to provide consistent, compassionate support.
- Contribute to an environment focused on dignity, inclusion, and personal growth.
- Help individuals develop the skills needed to live more independently and participate fully in their communities.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid New Jersey driver's license in good standing with no more than five (5) motor vehicle points.
- Demonstrated employment stability preferred, including at least one year with a previous employer.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
