What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Staff/ DSP/ House Parent WEEKEND OVERNIGHTS position at The Arc of Indian River County?
House Parent/ Direct Support Professionals work directly with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. Day-to-day they assist individuals with various daily living activities like bathing, toileting, eating, administering medications, hygiene, grooming, attend medical appointments, participate in community outings, and offer trainings on a variety of skills.
Minimum requirements include at least on year of human service/ caregiving experience; a high school diploma or equivalency ; and a valid FL driver's license. Candidates must also pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
