The Arc of Hunterdon County is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals throughout the county. Flexible shifts available!
Evening Shifts 3pm-11pm ~ Overnight Shifts 11pm-9am
Weekdays ~ Weekends ~ Full-time ~ Part-Time ~ Per Diem
Positions available assisting individuals in neighborhood homes, apartments, and day programs. No experience necessary, but experienced DSPs are always welcome. Three weeks of paid training provided.
Some Direct Support Professional job duties include but are not limited to:
- Trips for banking, food shopping and other errands with or without individuals
- Assistance with basic life skills, such as reading, writing, answering telephones
- Promote and assist in suggesting healthy lifestyle choices for individuals we support
- Assist in personal care
- Administer medications at scheduled times
- Directly support and assist with vehicle transfers when necessary
- Assistance with crossing the streets and busy lots
- Maintain an organized office space
- Maintain prompt and proper documentation
**Hours are flexible, but staff must be reliable and on time for shifts**
Job Types: Full time, part time, per diem
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to undergo required background checks
- Must be over 18 years of age
Pay Frequency:
Bi-weekly
