What would you do as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)
As a Full Time Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler, you will play a crucial role in utilizing team-based concepts for the coordination, supervision, and provision of residential services and day services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Your responsibilities will include facilitating the effective coordination of Comprehensive Functional Assessments (CFAs) at Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs), ensuring that each individual's needs are met and that they receive the highest quality of care. To excel as a Full Time Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in human services or equivalent, along with at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Meeting the Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) requirements as defined in Federal Medicaid Regulations is essential. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills are crucial for success in this role, as well as effective writing/typing and documentation/record-keeping abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a must. Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to fulfill the responsibilities of this position effectively.
