Qualifications: High School Diploma, three years of payroll experience and at least eighteen years old. Must have a valid, insurable driver's license.
Objective: The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the bi-weekly payroll processing and for assisting the Human Resource Director in all areas . They will collect timekeeping information for all employees, manage benefit deductions within the payroll software, and accurately record pay information. The Payroll Coordinator fulfills all responsibilities in a timely and professional manner.
Essential Duties: - Enter pay data for new hires, status/personnel changes, and terminations.
- Record pay data from our timekeeping system and verify all amounts prior to uploading the data to ADP Workforce Now.
- Make any employee changes to banking records, employee deductions, or tax status.
- Process and complete payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
- Manage any employee questions and concerns regarding payroll, investigate and resolve any errors in a timely manner.
- Maintain employee personnel files.
- Process bi-weekly retirement billing, loan billing, and wage garnishments
- Assists the Human Resources Director
Skills: - ADP Workforce Now experience a must
- Strong general accounting skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to problem solve and detail-oriented
- Ability to maintain confidentiality required
Job Type: Must be available every other Monday – Wednesday to complete the bi-weekly payroll process.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
