About the Role
As an HBTS Direct Support Worker at The Arc of Bristol County, you will provide individualized behavioral interventions and support in home and community settings. This role allows you to help children develop communication, social, play, and self-help skills while implementing their treatment plans. Reliable transportation is required to travel to service sites.
What You'll Do
- Deliver skill-building sessions using individualized teaching strategies
- Support positive social interactions with family and community members
- Implement behavior plans and accurately document progress
- Teach communication, social, self-help, and play skills
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children and others in the environment
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professional conduct
- Attend team meetings and ongoing trainings
- Perform other related tasks as needed
