Under the supervision of the After All Program Coordinator and Group Leader, the Group Aide is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the after school program.

Under the supervision of the After All Program Coordinator and Group Leader, the Group Aide is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the after school program.
WORK PERFORMED
- Assist in planning, preparing, and implementing daily activities.
- Assist in assuring individual child care plans are being followed adequately . Confer with Group Leader immediately if concerns arise pertaining to a child’s condition or needs.
- Assist in completion of necessary paperwork.
- Assist in food preparation, serving, and clean-up.
- Assist in keeping the classroom clean and orderly. Clean indoor and outdoor equipment and supplies regularly; assist program participants in Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
- Assist with the program wherever else necessary as indicated by the Group Leader and/or After All Program Coordinator.
- Attend staff meetings, parent/staff conferences and any other trainings or meetings deemed necessary by the After All Program Coordinator.
- Complete at least 3 hours of approved training yearly.
- Assist Group Leader in implementation of program plans.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling and pushing.
