Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- To assist in providing physical therapy for individuals evaluated by the physical therapist and in conjunction with PT treatment plan.
- Follow the treatment plan established by the PT.
- Work in conjunction with the individual's physician and therapist in course of treatment.
- Educate/train ancillary staff members.
- Complete any forms for participation in insurance including, but not limited to Medicare and New York State Medicaid.

Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Physical therapy assistant with appropriate NYS license/eligibility.
