Preschool Teacher Aide (Part-Time)
Pay: $17–$20 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
- Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Wed: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
The Arc Lane County is seeking a part-time Preschool Teacher Aide to support our inclusive early learning program. This role assists with classroom activities, supervision, personal care, documentation, and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for all children.
Responsibilities
- Support team members by providing reliable lunch break coverage
- Assist Lead Teacher with daily activities and curriculum
- Supervise children during play, learning, transitions, and meals
- Support set-up/clean-up and maintain safe classroom spaces
- Provide basic first aid and support personal care needs
- Document activities and communicate with families and staff
- Model professionalism, empathy, and positive interactions
Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License 1 year licensed driving experience
- High school diploma or working toward completion
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks
- Active enrollment in the Central Background Check Registry
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, inclusive early learning setting
Preferred: Experience with childcare, child development, or supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
License/Certification:
- Oregon Driver's License with at least one year experience? (Required)
- enrollment in OCC's Central Background Registry? (Required)
