Job Summary:
Provide temporary coverage during Summer Camp (June 29th-Sep 4th) Sullivan County - $18.00/hr, Mon-Fri 8am-4pm plus 2 weeks of paid mandatory training in May or June 2026
The CSI Provider is primarily responsible as a DSP recreation worker organizing and completing events and trips applicable each month, detailing the integrated nature of these activities. Implements the level of support according to the individual’s needs, the safety of the passenger, and vehicles in accordance with the agency's policy and procedures. Attends activities/events and trips on schedule and on time. The services are designed to provide oversight and guidance to individuals supported, enabling them to participate in their community to the fullest extent possible.

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with people we support, collaterals, and staff.
Relate the Agency’s mission statement and core values to daily responsibilities, interactions, and decision-making.
Adhere to the Agency’s Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, Code of Professionalism, and Policies and Procedures.
Maintain valid licenses (including but not limited to driving, as applicable), certification, or any other credentials that are required or necessary to carry out the responsibilities upon and throughout employment.
Assume responsibility for the care and well-being of the people we support in the absence of their family member or caregiver.
Act as a companion to the people we support(s), providing activities that are meaningful to the People we support.
Carry out assigned duties as requested by the Coordinator, CSI.
Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the safety of the people that we support in accordance with agency policy and the length of the trip/event.
2. Ensures the highest level of quality support and maintains appropriate communication with the Coordinator keeping alert of any concerns or incidents that may need to be addressed before, during or after an event.
3. Obtains and maintains certifications as required for working in the program which includes, but is not limited to: Driving and CPR/First aid.
4. Provision of transportation services related to specific activities and trips
5. Shall schedule service delivery times that meet the needs of the people we support and his/her family. Shall communicate with families about changes as they arise.
6. Shall contemporaneously maintain accurate records regarding service delivery, utilizing the program software, such as dates, service delivery times, etc.
7. Shall submit records to the coordinator as per program policy and other related duties as required.
8. Responsible for monies allotted and records of the same.
9. Develop and implement activities with the people supported. These activities must be tailored to meet the people’s needs and desires.
10. Responsible for maintaining equipment/supplies as assigned.

Qualifications:
Experience with OMH and MR/DD is also preferred.
