Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Nurse is responsible for presenting staff in-services relating to medication administration and nursing issues with adherence to Department of Developmental Services regulations and agency policies and procedures. They will ensure compliance with all state and regulatory reporting requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Minimum of 3-5yrs exp. in a clinical setting, preferably serving individuals with developmental and physical disabilities
- Ability to attend the Department of Developmental Services Endorsed Instructor training course
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suit
- Current State of CT RN License
- The Nurse must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- May be exposed to the risk of injury or exposure to occupational health hazards
Essential Functions: Ensures confidentiality as required by Law, The Arc ECT, and DDS policies and procedures which includes keeping records, conversations, correspondence (regarding program participants and staff) confidential.

- Treats all individuals in an age-appropriate manner, with respect and dignity

- Carries out all job responsibilities in a professional manner
- Maintains attendance. Adheres to policies on attendance, days of absence, and illness
- Keeps supervisor informed of any significant events or the need to modify any area of the operation/activity
