As Resident Care Director, you are the clinical standard-setter. The tone-setter. The follow-through leader.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Ensuring exceptional quality of resident care through clear standards, monitoring, and accountability
- Overseeing the entire medication delivery system with precision and consistency
- Conducting initial and ongoing resident assessments with accuracy and clinical insight
- Evaluating medical concerns and coordinating care with providers and ancillary services
- Interpreting policies and regulations for nursing staff — ensuring full compliance
- Supervising Resident Care Aides (RCAs) with clear expectations and consistent follow-up
- Providing hands-on competency training with return demonstrations
- Leading recruitment, onboarding, and in-service education for the nursing team
- Serving as a trusted liaison to families, healthcare agencies, hospitals, and emergency teams
- Handling emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Participating in on-call rotation
- Documentation is accurate.
- Medications are correct.
- Assessments are thorough.
- Communication is clear.
- Follow-through is expected.

For Massachusetts (MA):
- Current Massachusetts RN or LPN License in good standing
- 1-year verifiable experience in Home Care or Assisted Living
- Knowledge of aging and disability issues
- Current Connecticut Registered Nurse License in good standing
- One of the following:
- BSN with 2 years full-time clinical experience (including 1 year in home health/community health), OR
- Diploma/Associate degree with 4 years full-time clinical experience within past 10 years (including 1 year in home health/community health)
- Knowledge of aging and disability issues
