The Position

The Vice President of Affiliate Marketing will lead the Vibrant Performance team, owning client launches, affiliate program strategy, and partner recruitment across the agency’s affiliate and influencer marketing initiatives. This role blends strategic leadership, hands-on execution, and people management, with full accountability for program growth, client performance, and operational excellence.

As a senior leader within the performance organization, you will be responsible for scaling affiliate programs across all agency clients, managing key client relationships, and building repeatable processes that support sustainable agency growth.

This is a fully remote role ideal for an experienced affiliate marketing leader with agency experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and is motivated by performance, ownership, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Affiliate Program Leadership & Growth

Lead the Vibrant Performance team across client launches, affiliate program strategy, and ongoing optimization.

Own the growth and performance of all onboarded and active affiliates across agency-managed programs.

Develop and execute affiliate outreach and recruitment strategies to expand publisher and influencer partnerships.

Drive program growth across all agency clients by identifying new opportunities, traffic sources, and scaling levers.

Client Launches & Account Ownership

Oversee end-to-end client launches, ensuring smooth onboarding, offer setup, tracking, and go-live execution.

Serve as the day-to-day lead for key client accounts, managing performance, expectations, and communication.

Partner closely with clients to align affiliate strategies with business goals, KPIs, and growth targets.

Deliver clear performance updates, insights, and strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Team Management & Development

Directly manage a team of an Associate Director, 3 full-time employees and 2 independent contractors, with responsibility for future team growth.

Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development support to ensure high-quality execution.

Set clear priorities, workflows, and accountability across the team.

Operational Excellence & SOP Development

Execute and enforce existing internal SOPs across affiliate operations, client management, and partner workflows.

Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve processes as the agency scales.

Develop, document, and implement new and optimized SOPs to support future growth and consistency.

Ensure operational rigor across launches, affiliate management, reporting, and compliance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with leadership, account management, media, analytics, and creative teams to support client success.

Align affiliate initiatives with broader agency goals, capacity planning, and growth priorities.

Share performance insights, learnings, and best practices to elevate the affiliate function across the agency.

Qualifications

Required

Must have Direct managing affiliate network experience

10 years of experience in affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, or performance marketing roles.

Prior experience in an agency environment, managing multiple clients and programs simultaneously.

Proven ability to lead affiliate program launches, growth initiatives, and partner recruitment.

Experience managing direct reports and independent contractors.

Strong understanding of affiliate ecosystems, CPA-based models, and partner performance optimization.

Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

Highly organized, process-oriented mindset with experience building and executing SOPs.

Comfortable operating in fast-paced, performance-driven environments with high ownership.

Preferred

Experience at an affiliate or influencer marketing agency.

Background in fintech, finance, or other regulated / performance-sensitive verticals.

Familiarity with affiliate tracking platforms, influencer platforms, and reporting tools.

Experience scaling teams or programs during periods of agency growth.
