Position Overview
The Preschool Director is responsible for overall leadership, daily operations, compliance, staff development, enrollment growth and family engagement of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily school operations and ensure licensing compliance
- Lead, mentor, and inspire teaching staff
- Maintain a safe, nurturing and high-quality learning environment
- Manage enrollment, tours and community outreach
- Build strong relationships with families
- Oversee budgeting, payroll coordination and administrative duties
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
- Director credential
- 3 years of leadership experience in a preschool or childcare setting
- Strong knowledge of state licensing requirements
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- A heart for children and passion for excellence
