Preschool Assistant

We are a Montessori-inspired preschool creating a warm, peaceful learning environment for young children. Our goal is simple: build a space that feels safe, orderly, and respectful, where children can learn independence and confidence through hands-on daily work.

We’re looking for an Assistant Teacher who enjoys being part of a team, loves working with young children, and understands that the best classrooms are calm, consistent, and well-prepared.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Lead Teacher with classroom routines and daily flow
• Help supervise children during work time, play, meals, and transitions
• Assist with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a beautiful classroom environment
• Help prepare materials and activities
• Support children with practical life skills (washing hands, cleaning up, snack routines, etc.)
• Provide kind, respectful guidance and redirection
• Maintain safety and licensing standards
• Communicate professionally with staff and families

Qualifications:

• Childcare/preschool experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CDA or relevant training is a plus
• Must pass background check and meet licensing requirements
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain upon hire
