Role Description
The People Development & ESG Coordinator supports the company’s initiatives to enhance employee engagement, talent development, and corporate sustainability. This role focuses on assisting with training coordination, employee programs, community engagement, data tracking, and sustainability reporting. It offers exposure to both HR and ESG functions, making it ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional passionate about people and purpose-driven business.
Key Responsibilities
People Development • Support onboarding and orientation for new employees. • Assist in coordinating internal training, workshops, and leadership development programs. • Maintain training records and performance development tracking systems. • Help implement engagement initiatives such as surveys, recognition programs, and volunteer days. • Assist with learning materials, presentations, and internal communications.
ESG & Sustainability • Support data gathering for ESG reporting. • Assist in developing and tracking sustainability KPIs (energy use, waste reduction, community impact). • Help organize volunteer, donation, and social responsibility events. • Support communication of ESG initiatives through newsletters and internal campaigns. • Conduct basic research on ESG best practices and assist in policy updates. General & Administrative • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for HR and ESG meetings. • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. • Coordinate logistics for internal and external events. • Support cross-departmental initiatives related to culture, well-being, and compliance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Corporate Sustainability, or related.
• 0–2 years of professional experience (internship or related project experience welcome).
• Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, comfortable with AI, data entry/analysis and various reporting tools.
• Interest in corporate sustainability, employee development, and organizational culture.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
