Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shuttle Driver and Facility Cleaner to join our team. This dual-role position involves safely operating company vehicles to transport personnel to our location from nearby parking areas and maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and experience in cleaning and custodial services. This role is vital to ensuring smooth operations and a safe, clean environment for all staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles to transport employees between designated locations.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during transportation duties.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shuttle vehicle, including regular sanitation and minor maintenance checks.
- Perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, bathroom cleaning and restocking supplies within the facility.
- Conduct detailed cleaning tasks including floor care, buffing, and custodial maintenance in various areas of the facility.
- Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management.
- Ensure the facility remains organized, safe, and hygienic at all times.
- Adhere to safety guidelines related to industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, or custodial work.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial services, custodial work, or facilities maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and industrial cleaning methods.
- Experience with commercial or residential cleaning tasks is a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety protocols.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation-Attendance is a MUST.
