Duties
- Operate the guillotine cutting machine to cut materials according to specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Read and interpret work orders to determine cutting requirements..
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in cuts.
- Perform routine maintenance on the guillotine machine and troubleshoot any operational issues.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to ensure seamless workflow and quality control.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment within the manufacturing facility.
- Assist in quality control inspections, ensuring that all products meet established standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with guillotine or similar cutting machinery.
- Strong understanding of basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Experience with hand tools, fabrication techniques, assembly processes, and materials handling is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
