Preschool Teacher - School Calendar (Monday through Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum for preschool students
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Teach and educate students on various subjects, including math, language arts, steam, science, etc.
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in the classroom
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians on a regular basis
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Plan and organize activities that promote physical education and gross motor skills development
Skills:
- Strong background in early childhood education principles and practices
- Understanding of child welfare and development theories
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting
- Proficient in behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment
- Ability to execute engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play
- Knowledge of math concepts appropriate for preschool-aged children
