Private Animal Sanctuary in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida seeks dedicated and hard-working caregivers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our residents. Provide direct care for our resident cows, horses, donkeys, chickens, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, ducks, geese, and yes - even more incredible beings.
Duties
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
- Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff.
- Assist in administering medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of animal enclosures and facilities.
- Support veterinary procedures
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills or experience:
- Previous experience in animal care or as a veterinary assistant is preferred.
- Knowledge of farmed animal care and physiology is beneficial. .
- Experience as a veterinary technician or in veterinary critical care is a plus But not required.
- Familiarity with animal husbandry practices.
