What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at The Animal Eye Institute?
The Animal Eye Institute is a rapidly growing practice with an established referral base, as well as a robust medical and surgical caseload. We see mostly dogs, cats, and horses, but do see exotics as well!
We are in need of a motivated, zero drama and personable Veterinary Receptionist. It is a full time position (35-40 hours per week). This job requires phone and computer skills.
· Our office is open Monday thru Friday and 2 Saturdays per month.
Our Veterinary Receptionists are responsible for the care of our patients including but not limited to:
· Providing exceptional client service
· Managing the clinic phone: booking appointments, refilling medications, forwarding medical calls to the doctor/technician
· Billing out appointments at the end of examination, booking future appointments for that client
· Filling medications and client communication
· Manage incoming emails.
· Daily closeout of the clinic: making sure all clinic income is accounted for that day
· Light handling of animals: admitting patients for day stays
· Light cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, tidying, etc.
