Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for new guests
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils with care
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas: sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs to uphold sanitation standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling duties when needed, including dishwashing and utensil cleaning
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all sanitation procedures meet health regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and table setting standards is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and assist guests professionally
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality industry standards is a plus but can be learned on the job
Pay: $16.00 per hour
